Yuyang Chen

Postdoctoral Researcher

Dr Yuyang Chen is a postdoctoral researcher at the CanBe Lab. He holds a PhD in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Canberra. His academic training has equipped him with strong capabilities in economic analysis, econometric modelling, and evidence-based research. 

Dr Chen has contributed to research projects involving the Australian federal government and provincial governments in China, giving him experience working across different policy contexts and institutional settings. 

His research findings have been presented at national conferences in both Australia and China, where he has engaged with researchers, policymakers, and other stakeholders. 

At the CanBe Lab, he contributes his quantitative expertise and international research experience to collaborative and policy-relevant projects. His work is guided by an interest in applying rigorous econometric methods to practical questions and translating complex evidence into clear, useful insights.
