Dr. Somayeh Bahmannia

Dr. Somayeh Bahmannia is a Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour and received her PhD in Leadership and Organisational Behaviour in 2018 from the University of Otago, New Zealand. Her research lies at the intersection of leadership dynamics, employee behaviour, and workplace psychology, with a growing interest in how leadership influences employee–customer interactions, knowledge behaviours, identity processes, and affective responses in the workplace.

Dr. Bahmannia has developed a strong interdisciplinary research portfolio, with publications spanning domains such as tourism, AI–human interaction, ethical and humble leadership, and workplace inclusion/diversity. She has published in A* (e.g., Journal of Management, Leadership Quarterly), A (e.g., Journal of Business Ethics), and Q1-ranked journals (e.g., Journal of Leadership and Organisational Studies). She actively engages in collaborative research with international scholars from Canada, the USA, and China. She serves on the Ethical Review Board of the Journal of Leadership & Organizational Studies.
